This is another option (renting an apartment is common in NYC) If you choose this, we advise to stay in the Park Slope or Prospect Heights Neighborhoods. Please make sure you read through all the recent reviews (at least 6 months worth) before selecting a host to ensure minimal issues with your stay.
Depending on where you are in the neighborhoods, you will be nearby to the B or F NYC Subway lines which will bring you to St Patrick's Cathedral. Park Slope is approximately a 20-30 minute walk to the Prospect Park Boathouse, while Prospect Heights is approximately a 10-15 walk. A cab or Uber is always an option for travel as well.
