Taxi or Car Service
Ubers can be found in all neighborhoods (if you have a smart phone, simply download the app & set up your account).
Yellow Cabs (all 5 boroughs) & Green Cabs (outside Manhattan) should be easy to find, & can be hailed from the street. If the sign on the rooftop is lit-up, then it is available to hail. All taxis accept Credit Card. Between Brooklyn & St. Patrick's Cathedral taxi/uber fares will cost approximately $35. If your driver requires directions please go to the Wedding page.
Note: traveling by taxi on Marathon Sunday will be very difficult as many streets will be closed off. As an alternate, the NYC Subway is a convenient & quick form of transportation while avoiding traffic.
Subway
To get to St. Patrick's Cathedral, you can take the B, D, F or M lines to the "47-50 Sts - Rockefeller Center" station & after exiting the station, walk east (toward 5th Ave) toward the Cathedral (can't miss it).
To get to the Prospect Park Boathouse, you can take the Q or B line to Prospect Park & follow the sign for the Flatbush Ave/Ocean Ave southwest corner exit. Turn left & walk towards the traffic light at Ocean Ave. Cross the street to Prospect Park. Turn left into the brick paved Park entrance (Willink Drive) & Staff will direct you to the Boathouse.
Please be aware that the MTA sometimes conducts service work on the weekends & trains may not be running on typical routes. Please check mta.info for up to date info on changes to subway service.
